Why to prepare rice in the coffee maker?

However, this statement is disproved by the “Rice association“ representing the interests of the British producers and sellers of rice. According to its data based on more than one thousand tests, 99% of tests did not reveal excess of the standards existing in the European Union.

Anyway, arsenic in rice there is a lot of, from - for what the “Agency of food standards“ operating in England, Wales and Northern Ireland does not recommend to use a rice milk for baby food.

Whether it is possible to reduce amount of the arsenic getting to an organism together with rice? Researchers found out that the ways of heat treatment of rice based on water evaporation, for example, at preparation of pilaf or risotto, do not delete arsenic.

Washed up from rice by liquid, it comes back after moisture evaporation. However it is possible to remove up to 85% of arsenic from rice if to apply the ways used for preparation of coffee to its processing. Potentially not all coffee makers, and only in what the stream of liquid or steam passes through a coffee layer as, for example, in perkolyator or in drop coffee makers are suitable for cooking of rice.
