Than LED lamps are unique?

Still the primitive person faced a problem of lighting and solved it in the primitive way, using torches in a cave. There were more compact of a splinter later. But they quickly burned down and gave not enough light. Then the person thought up candles. They were applied up to the 18th century. Further there was an oil lamp. However, in some countries of a candle and the mentioned lamps were applied at the same time. Revolution in lighting happened only to the invention of an electric bulb.

If you remember from a school course, in 1874 the Russian engineer A. N. Lodygin took out the patent for the invention: an electric lamp with a coal sterzhenk on electrodes. Under the influence of electric current the piece of coal began to shine brightly. But the bulb was short-lived - the piece of coal quickly enough burned down. Many engineers worked on improvement of the glow lamp: Pavel Yablochkov, Walter Nernst, Joseph Swan, Thomas Edison and others.

But only at the beginning of the XX century it was succeeded to solve a problem of fast burn-out of a tungsten thread in a bulb flask. Irving Lengmyur - the specialist of General Electric firm (USA) made it. He suggested to fill flasks with argon - inert gas. It at once considerably increased the term of operation of glow lamps.

Now the electric lamps released by the industry conditionally are divided into groups in an efficiency scale: vacuum; argonny; kriptonny and xenon - halogen. Each group has both pluses, and minuses. Are divided by functionality of a lamp on: general use; local lighting; illyuminatsionny; mirror; decorative; alarm; projector; for optics. Besides, still special lamps are made: switching; projective; photographic bulbs; dvukhnitevy; quick-response; heating.

But quite recently also LED lamps, absolutely unique in the parameters, appeared. What do they differ from other lamps in?

First of all, the fact that they have a huge working resource. If the bulb of an incandescence serves no more than five years, then light-emitting diode at daily continuous operation till eight o`clock has the guaranteed service life till 20 years!

Experts carry the specified class of lamps to a class of energy saving. They on this indicator replace action more than ten usual lamps! Simple example. Instead of a bulb on 100 watts it is possible to put light-emitting diode on 10 watts and at the same time level of illumination of the room even will be higher.

At LED lamps absolute “coherence“ with requirements of ecology. They do not contain any harmful and toxic substances in the device. Besides, lamps of this class are completely suitable for waste-free processing. It is necessary to notice especially that important point that LED lamps are capable to work in any weather conditions and at any surrounding temperature. They are not afraid of sharp differences of tension. Nevertheless other lamps at such situations instantly fuse.

In a flank of honey there is also a tar spoon. Alas, so far cost of LED lamps quite high. But this minus completely becomes covered by pluses during operation. There is nothing surprising that there are new directions of use of such lamps. Not only in rooms, but also on the street. For example, for illumination of trade, office and other buildings. LED lamps also are applied to lighting of streets, bridges, channels. In production you can see them even in shops. There they are favorable not only from - for the low consumption of electricity, but also and for the reason that they should not be changed often. And replacement of bulbs in the conditions of process production (for example, conveyor) is connected with heavy losses.

Certainly, LED lamps will gradually force out the others. Business already goes to it.
