Vygonka bulbous by Christmas of

Bulbous plants it is possible “to force“ to blossom at all seasons of the year if to create them suitable conditions. If to land prepared for a vygonka bulbous at the end - the middle of fall, then by Christmas and New year they will fill the house in the bright flowers and refined aromas. If you have children, then they with pleasure will monitor development of roots and emergence of the first sprouts, and then and tsvetonos

the Choice bulbous

it is traditional

by Christmas indoors grow up tropical, thermophilic bulbous. Most often it is an Amaryllis, freesias and white “paper“ narcissuses (Narcissus tazetta Paperwhite) which do not demand stratification (preliminary keeping at low temperatures). However it is possible successfully “to force“ to blossom in the winter and habitual for us bulbous colder latitudes (the majority of narcissuses, hyacinths, tulips, giatsintoida, crocuses, stsilla, muskar, irises, etc.) if previously to stand them in an open paper package or in a grid in empty fruit office of the refrigerator within 2 - 4 months. Select large and healthy bulbs for a winter vygonka. The ready to a vygonka, already taken place the period coolings can be got from the producer of a bulb in the garden centers (they have to be specially marked, as “bulbs for a winter vygonka“), however they are slightly more expensive than usual.

Landing

Place bulbs in the beautiful pot on three quarters filled with the qualitative garden earth to which it is added specially slowly - soluble fertilizer for pottery cultures. Enshrine bulbs in the correct provision. They can settle down very closely to each other, important only that they did not adjoin among themselves and did not sit closely to a pot wall. From above fill up bulbs still with a layer of the garden earth, slightly condense a surface. Bulbs of hyacinths have to act slightly over the Earth`s surface, and bulbs of other plants it is necessary to have more deeply. It is possible to decorate a soil surface with a moss or a layer of gravel, without forgetting to leave, however, centimeter or two to pot top for watering. Do not forget that the pot has to have drainage openings and the pallet for water discharge. It is possible to make 2 layers of bulbs - one is slightly lower than another in chessboard order, smaller bulbs above. It is possible to use bulbs of different types or even different plants in one container. It is important only that the identical period of time from landing before blossoming was required for these bulbs. After landing water a pot that water came out in drainage openings, and support the soil in a damp state.

Instead of a pot with the garden earth can use the beautiful basket which is laid out by polyethylene or a flat wide decorative vase. On a bottom of such vase it is necessary to lay gravel approximately on a half or 2/3 heights, then in one layer closely to arrange bulbs, and from above to fill still a layer of gravel or decorative stones. The vase needs to be filled with water so that it only concerned a bottom of bulbs, and to maintain such water level throughout the first time until bulbs give roots. One more old way which now again in big fashion, assumes use of special glass vases for bulbous. These are the transparent pear-shaped flasks opened from above. The narrowed middle supports bulbs in vertical position. Water in such flasks has to not reach only on millimeter a collum of bulbs, then they successfully will give roots within a week. Most often in such flasks expel bulbs of hyacinths. Elegant vintage flasks for a vygonka can be got in the good garden centers.

Temperature condition

After landing of a bulb is required to be sustained in cool (about +10 ْ C) the dark place, it is desirable even to close a pot a black plastic bag completely to exclude hit of light. It helps bulbs to develop strong root system. You watch that the soil in a pot was supported in a damp state. Through some time of a bulb will give the first sprouts. When sprouts reach height of 4 - 5 cm, pots should be brought in the usual room with bright lighting and room temperature. Continue to water regularly bulbous, do not allow drying of the soil and heating of air around them (you do not hold pots near batteries or naked flame). If you see that plants develop dense green material to the detriment of buds, again transfer a pot to the cool dark place per day or two (not longer, differently leaves can lose a bright green color). Additional podkormok usually it is not required to healthy and strong bulbs.

the Expelled bulbous blossom in 2,5 - 3 months after disembarkation. After the beginning of blossoming it is necessary to clean plants from a direct sunlight. Ideal conditions for longer blossoming - a cool and the twilight. More precisely to date blossoming your bulbous for certain time, it is possible to regulate the level of temperature and lighting in the period of a vygonka: it is cool and the lack of light is slowed down by development of a plant, bright light and more high temperatures - accelerate.

After the end of blossoming the bulbs expelled in water most likely will be unsuitable

After blossoming to the subsequent use. The bulbs of cold latitudes expelled in the earth should be moved in the cool room, to cut off on them flowers and to leave tsvetonos and leaves to die in the natural way. In the spring they should be landed in an open ground and to look after further them, as behind usual garden bulbs. They will blossom again only on 2 - oh or 3 - y a season. The tropical bulbs expelled in the earth will blossom every year at the correct leaving.

During the work with bulbs do not forget to be careful as some bulbous contain the toxins causing irritation of skin and mucous.
