Readiness or unavailability of the child for the beginning of school training is defined by the level of its speech development: by means of the speech it should acquire (and to acquire) all system of knowledge. Simple regularity: the better oral speech is developed at the child by the time of receipt in school, the easier for it to seize reading and the letter.


At children quite often observe unsharply expressed lag in speech development which at preschool age usually does not draw special attention to itself, but further considerably complicates mastering the letter and leads to emergence of specific mistakes. Therefore it is very important to reveal even the most insignificant deviations in development of the speech of the preschool child and to manage to overcome them prior to training in the diploma. If the child did not visit preschool institution, it is necessary to check its speech readiness for training. In kindergarten according to strictly approved program preschool children are given a certain knowledge, form at them necessary skills and abilities. Though it is considered that the good teacher will not ask from the child of what he did not teach him to, sometimes it happens that the teacher is guided by the level of preparation of most of children in a class. Condition of a lexicon . At the child of the advanced preschool age the lexicon has to make not less than 2000 words (at some children it exceeds 5000 words). In it the main parts of speech have to be presented: nouns, verbs, adjectives, numerals, pronouns, adverbs, pretexts, coordinative and subordinating conjunctions. A number of the special receptions allowing to find out existence or absence in “dictionary“ of the child of certain words (see below) is applied to his research.

Formation of grammatical systems . It, in fact, clarification of a question whether the child seized the regularities of word change and word formation existing in language. The child with normally developing speech usually seizes grammatical system of word change by four years, and system of word formation - to seven.

And the correct creation of offers requires ability grammatical truly to agree on words among themselves.

Possession of the coherent speech . It is accepted to understand as the coherent speech such developed (consisting of several offers) statements which allow to state accurately and consistently the thoughts. Without free possession of the coherent speech process of school training is inconceivable (remember at least usual answers at a lesson) therefore it is already necessary to worry about its development in the child at preschool age.

Stories can be subdivided on actual and creative. The first, as the title indicates, give real events (facts) - on the basis of their direct perception, or on memory. The second are under construction with active participation of creative imagination thanks to what can be supplemented with some details which were not existing in a real situation. In a form stories can be descriptive and subject.

the Descriptive story - the description of the real or represented on the picture things, plants, animal. There are no characters, there are no events, and signs, characteristic of this subject, are just described. For example: “Puppy black, shaggy; it has small ears and a short tail...“
