Opposition of the good and evil - the eternal subject which is not leaving indifferent neither adults, nor children. Sometimes joint reflections lead to the most unexpected opening...

Anyway, the subject of the good and evil penetrates all works of children`s literature, plots of national fairy tales, animated films. It would seem, these concepts are included into life of the kid from the earliest age and do not need special definition. Meanwhile each parent will easily remember an example from the practice when there was a need of a thorough explanation of so difficult subject. And usually such questions arise unexpectedly and demand the immediate answer, the problem needs to be solved “without delay“. Otherwise it will be heavy to child to connect a consequence with the reason, and educational efforts can be vain, at least. For such a case the successful decision - the created in advance, certain universal philosophical model of this phenomenon simple and clear to the child. Accurate, clear, with desirable morals, logical prichinno - investigative communications. The last is especially actual for age of “why-askers“. In three - four years at the child ability to “vnesituativno - personal“ to communication is not created yet, and talk - reasonings on abstract subjects of morals seems useless. And notorious “crisis of three-year-olds“ just prevents the child to submit to rules and certainly to accept parental installations. So, with the child I built the following model. Karabas - Barabas is a “pole of the evil“. Just as it forced to play dolls of the theater bad, silly performances, and people (children) it forces to do the evil sometimes. The more they obey Karabas, the he becomes stronger. The opposite pole arose at the initiative of the child, and, apparently, dreamed. He called it too - Good Volshebnik (influence of fantastic mythology is available). Respectively, the more good things children do, the this character is stronger. And strongholds of the good and evil are measured by forces. And each child by all means participates in this fight. All children, being unambiguously kind by the nature, kind and angry can make acts. Only they create good voluntarily, helping at the same time the friend Volshebnik. And here them Karabas - Barabas forces to do the evil. Therefore, to avoid bad acts, it is necessary to resist the evil beginning, not to obey it. But it concerns only evil will of Karabas with which Volshebnik helps to struggle. Only he is capable to win against Karabas owing to the magic definition.

that all nuances of a legend were studied on the discussion course with the child - in response to his numerous questions. And there is a lot of enthusiasm as thanks to participation of familiar fairy tale characters the child apprehended our conversation as game. Besides, the child had very tempting opportunity - not to obey the strong adult (Karabasa - Barabasa) and to resist in every possible way his ox. Anyway - the result inspired.

Does not know to

how internal understanding affected behavior, but for external influence became an easy reminder, it seems enough: “Well, obeyed Karabas?“. Sometimes the son himself remembers and aloud estimates the mixed feelings. And it is surprisingly well-aimed:“ Here I made a kind act now, but fight all the same goes“. But here that struck me once most of all: when the companion - the peer of my son showed aggression, the son told: “Just Karabas to you came. Let`s it banish!“

that the question of protection against direct aggression remained with us open. When it is justified and why? And how to define a framework of legal? Here, to admit, I am lost. Perhaps, to give an opportunity to the person to create own rules in process of accumulation of life experience? Or in cooperation with parents at the beginning? It seems to me the most reasonable the last option. Certainly, on condition of true cooperation, but not imposing of ready decisions on each occasion.

Perfectly the will of the child as there are always distinct and clear incentives to action (the help to Volshebnik or Karabasu`s resistance, as in our example develops). Making the choice and making the independent decision, the child is accustomed to think of the feelings. Let for a start even after the action. But so he tries to realize this action, its motives. It surely will help it on the way to randomness of behavior that psychologists consider as very significant problem of preschool age. Important, perhaps, and simple understanding of, the desires and aspirations, awakening of interest in the world of other people, to its device and the place in it.

I Think that the similar philosophical model created by parents for own child taking into account features of his character and interests, understanding level, can become important line in a world picture for the kid. And who knows, maybe, this beginning will bring someone in a result to deep understanding of religion and true belief? To points of honor, morals, conscience? To the deep, thoughtful relation to life and understanding of other people?
