How the fairy tale of brothers of Grimm turned in Soviet multi - the musical? - x years “lion`s share“ of the most popular Soviet children`s songs belonged to birthday of Yury Entin

to a feather of the poet Yury Entin. However in 1968 this name told nothing to nobody. Yury Sergeyevich worked as the editor at firm of a gramophone recording “Melody“, on the course composed cheerful parodies and scribbled texts for Gennady Gladkov`s suites.

Entin - to Gladkov: We are not famous for

of the General are connected by destiny.

we Compose suites -

of Syuitimsya we with you.

However soon everything changed...

Began with the fact that the director Inesse Kovalevskoy wanted to shoot the animated film constructed only on songs. Having heard it, Yury Entin took and blurted out off the wall: “For example, about the Bremen musicians!“.

However, having re-read the original of brothers Grimm, he was upset - the fairy tale was short, musicians there nobody became - on the way animals just “parted“ robbers on a hut and forgot about musical career.

Respectively, the plot should be built anew, almost for no reason. To the aid Entin called friends - the same Gladkov and future “Sherlock Holmes“ of Vasily Livanov. Livanov developed the most part of a plot and entered the Troubadour there - such head of animal VIA. Gladkov insisted on that in the fairy tale surely there was a princess, and then he will be able to write a lyrical subject. Well, and where the princess, nearby and to the father - the king.

The plot developed, and Entin began to shift it to verses. He wrote the first the central theme of the Bremen musicians - a peculiar anthem of free artists. The poet still considers the text of this song the first professional poem.

Yu. Entin: “I will never forget

how heard the first song. I sat in edition of “Melody“ in the workplace, phone call was suddenly distributed, and Gennady Gladkov sang to me in a tube: “No power on earth is better not - e - that... “When I heard this music, something in me turned over“.

according to Entin, after that he resolved to quit the old job and too to become the free artist.

Yu. Entin: ““Bremen …“ were written to

in some degree to spite. It seemed to me that as children`s songs wrote generally women, all of them were too sickly-sweet - sentimental, and it only pushed away children.

... there are many reasons of popularity, there is a talent of the poet who thought up puns which in songs were not used before. To “The Bremen musicians“ this genre was considered as low-standard: only funnymen in kitchen could cling to some word and make puns. But I thought up an intelligent pun, and differently as “any roads are expensive to us“ or “in royal rooms lost rest“ it is impossible to tell“.

Following after the scenario planned to write down a soundtrack of future animated film. Long not to suffer, decided to use Entin`s communications and to register on the quiet in studios of that “Melody“. Passed everything in accurately appointed date late at night. With music problems were not - it was played by small ensemble of young musicians of “Melody“ which was conducted by Gladkov. And here with vocalists the real working flat out began...

First plans were Napoleonic: wanted that for the Ataman Zinoviy Gerdt sang, for the Donkey - Oleg Yankovsky, and for the Princess - Zoya Horodadze. But it did not develop, did not grow together... Then invited the vocal quartet CHORD, but in due time … it did not arrive too.

The situation was rescued by the performer of a role of the Troubadour - Oleg Anofriyev who, only of singers, arrived to studio, despite an illness and high temperature. Unexpectedly it turned out that Oleg perfectly imitates different voices. So slowly - gradually he also sang almost for all characters - overstrained only on the Princess.

It was necessary to ring two o`clock in the morning to the singer Elmira Zherzdeva and to beg that she came to perform women`s parts. Elmira sang for the Princess, and here her thin voice did not match image of the Ataman. The versatile person Anofriyev was again connected to process. He only asked: “What actress you present to roles of the Ataman?“ “Well, Ranevskaya...“ “It is possible also Ranevskaya...“ - the singer told and by a deep-voices voice executed well-known “Baddies - beeches“.

Except Anofriyev and Zherzdeva on record Entin`s friend - the poet Anatoly Gorokhov (to him belongs well-known asinine “E - e“) and even the composer was marked out (Gladkov sang by a thin voice for the King “Bolsho - about - oh a secret...“ ).

Emergency record was finished, and only after that animators began to create visions of characters.

Perhaps it will seem to someone strange, but, according to Entin, western fate - the culture practically did not influence creation of songs to the first animated film (consciously it was shown only in the second part). Similar analogies arose at the audience, first of all, thanks to unusually modern “image“ of the Troubadour and Princess.

After studying of foreign fashionable magazines, the Troubadour found the trousers - a flare, and the princess - pass - a dress. However, Entin still continues to claim that the last was copied by Vasily Livanov from a red wedding dress of his second wife - Marina (Livanov in general not bad drew, and it possesses the first sketches of characters of “The Bremen musicians“). The image of the Princess was added also by the playful tails offered by Svetlana Scriabina - the assistant of the art director.

Long suffered with types of robbers. So far someone did not bring a calendar with the photo of the well-known Trinity - the Coward (Vitsin), the Goof (Nikulin) and Skilled (Morgunov). So robbers found recognizable lines of “friends“ from Gaidai`s comedy “The Caucasian captive“.

As for the Ataman, she according to Entin was copied from the wife of the director V. Kotyonochkin (what will shoot “Wait a moment!“) - the ballerina Tamara Vishnyovoy. Thanks to its performances at the Moscow operetta theater, in the animated film also dance of the Ataman on a flank appeared.

And here in 1969 premier display of “The Bremen musicians“ in the Big house of cinema, and then and on TV screens took place. The success was phenomenal both at children, and at adults. Entin and Gladkov literally woke up well-known.

And here release of a plate with songs strongly dragged on. And about continuation of “The Bremen musicians“ I will already tell about it in the following article.
