Definition armyano - kypchaksky language its carriers as Tatar, like the same modern everyday name of urumsky language (“ Greco - Tatar “ language of Greeks - tyurkofon - unlike “ Greco - Hellenic “ language rumeev, or Greeks - ellinofon [Garkavets 1999]), is in this case definition not on ethnolinguistic identity, and on structural similarity closely related, but nevertheless different languages.
By origin armyano - kypchaksky language represents one of kypchako - Polovtsian languages of the Crimean area. On structural features it is very close to a trakaysky dialect of Karaite language, kumansky language, kypchaksky urumsky dialects and mountain (as of the end 19 - the beginning of 20 century) to dialects of Krymsk - Tatar. Therefore in the main part of scientific definition this language is designated as kypchakskiya.
Being known on armyanopismenny monuments of business, clerical, educational and scientific contents [Deny, Tryjarski, 1964b; Abdullin, 1974; Garkavets, 1980, 1981a; 1993], made by representatives of the Armenian colonies in Ukraine, in Poland, Moldova, Walachia and Asia Minor, but mainly in Kamyanets-Podilsky and Lviv, in 16-17 centuries, this language in the first part of the compound name scientifically is defined as peculiar to a certain group of Armenians and remained in armyanopismenny monuments.
