In any case, according to Wikipedia, in different places the Semik is noted beginning since Tuesday, since Thursday, and finish both for the Trinity, and on the Tuesday following it. The present Semik is attached to a paschal cycle, and “official“ terms of its celebration vary depending on an ecclesiastical calendar. Quite often in the Network it is possible to meet also the concrete, fixed dates of the Semik / the Green Christmas-tide / Rusaly, and dates at the same time are called the most different - for example, with 15 - go, and that with any of 20 - x dates of June.
A green Christmas-tide in the people connects with the Trinity, with Pentecost, and this identification is traced even centuries with 12 - go. However there is an opinion that initially the Semik marked the beginning of summer, and it is far more logical to connect it with Yariliny day - on June 4. Too long ago this holiday, merging with the Trinity, moved from the initial place in a calendar. Besides Russia is big, and dates of an agrarian calendar objectively differ in different areas. So to say: the version of coincidence of the Semik with Yariliny day is confirmed indirectly, and there are no bindings by other fixed days of a solar calendar, it seems.
