What is talent?

Talent are a high level of abilities of the person to a certain activity. This combination of abilities which give to the person the chance successfully, independently and originally to execute certain difficult work.
Talent is a high level of development, first of all special abilities.

It is set of such abilities which give the chance to receive an activity product which differs in novelty, the high level of perfection and public importance.
at children`s age can Already be shown the first signs of talent in the field of music, mathematics, linguistics, equipment, sport etc. At the same time the talent can be shown later. Formation and development of talent considerably depends from socially - historical living conditions and activity of the person.

The talent can be shown in all spheres of human work: in organizing and pedagogical activity, in science, equipment, in different types of production. Diligence and persistence are of great importance for development of talent. The need for occupation by a certain kind of activity which is sometimes shown in passion to the chosen business is characteristic of talented people.

The combination of abilities which are a talent basis in each case happens special, peculiar only to the certain personality. About existence of talent it is necessary to draw a conclusion by results of activity of the person which have to be allocated with basic novelty, originality of approach. The talent of the person is directed by need for creativity.

The talent is the ability inherent from the birth. But it reveals gradually, with acquisition of certain skills or experience. Modern scientists allocate certain types of talent which are possessed by people in a varying degree. At the beginning of 1980 - x years Howard Gardner wrote the book “Mind “ framework. In this book it defined eight types of talent, intelligence:
• verbally - linguistic (is responsible for ability to write and read, it is inherent in journalists, writers and lawyers);
• digital (it is characteristic of mathematicians, programmers);
• acoustical (musicians, linguists, linguists);
• spatial (it is inherent in designers and artists);
• physical (it allocated athletes and dancers, these people are easier trained in practice);
• personal (it also call emotional; is responsible for what the person tells to himself);
• interpersonal (people with this talent often become politicians, speakers, dealers, actors);
• talent of environment (this talent allocated trainers, farmers).
About existence of talent should judge by high development of abilities, first of all special, and also by results of activity of the person which have to differ in basic novelty, originality of approach. The talent of the person usually goes pronounced need for creativity and reflects public inquiries.

In various areas the talent can be shown at different times. So, in music, drawing, mathematics, linguistics, equipment usually it is shown at early age; and talent in literary, scientific or organizing spheres are found at later age.

High level of endowments which characterizes the genius is inevitably connected with originality in different or even in all areas. As an example of the universalism often peculiar to geniuses, it is enough to call Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci, R. Descartes, G. W. Leibniz, M. V. Lomonosov, K. Marx. But also endowments of the genius have a certain profile, and in it some party dominates, some abilities are especially revealed and issued in the leading direction of his creativity.
