To be or not to be to kindergarten in the child`s life?

Were times when all children till 6 - 7 years were at home, and mothers, grandmothers, nurses, governesses were engaged in their education … - to whom as will carry. Other options were not as the first kindergartens in Russia were open only in 60 - e years of the 19th century (in their 1914 was only 150 - it is about 4000 children).

Then there came the era of a day nursery and kindergartens. As a rule, our mothers and grandmothers did not suffer a question, to give or not the child to preschool educational institution. And visit of kindergarten from a year and a half was norm, and sometimes even earlier - on this case there was day nursery accepting kids since two months. Development of public education was caused by economic inquiries of that time - all women had to work for the Fatherland benefit.

Now the situation changed. Modern parents have a choice: to be or not to be to kindergarten in the child`s life. When the kid reaches age of 1,5 - 2, many parents begin to think of how further to construct training and education of the child.

Recently the tendency to leave the child on house education was outlined. The reasons of it in big deficiency of places in preschool educational institutions, and also in mistrust to kindergartens which do not cope with the tasks. Let`s consider pluses and minuses of public and house education.

Undoubtedly, the main advantage of kindergarten socialization is . In other words, training of the child for life in society, development of standards of behavior by it. In kindergarten the child gains experience of communication not only with the relatives loving it people but also with age-mates, with tutors and nurses who to it can have the most various feelings. Also the kid learns to respect seniors, to obey them, to fulfill their instructions and requirements, to observe discipline. The child thus gains necessary skills of social behavior.

Also the kindergarten accustoms the kid to a day regimen, optimum for the growing organism . Further it will help the child and at adaptation to school .

As practice shows, the kids attending kindergarten are more independent. They seize quicker speech skills as communication with peers stimulates development.

Carrying out the developing occupations with children belongs to duties of tutors. Not always it is possible to find in house conditions, for example, opportunities for carrying out musical or sports occupations.

However there are also minuses of education of the child in kindergarten . Infectious diseases, not always favorable psychological climate in a garden, lack of an individual approach to the child, deprivation attention of the tutor (in group 25 - 30 people), danger of traumatizing, not pedagogical methods of impact of tutors on children etc. is not all list of circumstances which sadden stay of the child in kindergarten …

Besides the beginning of visit of preschool educational institution for the child always a stress. The big room, unfamiliar children around, foreign adults are teachers, the nurse, the musical director, loud talk, footfall of legs, the sounds made by toys, a clap doors - all this is unusual for the child. Long stay of the kid in a stressful state can lead to development of neurosis and delay of rate of psychophysical development.

We will consider in more detail and house education . First of all, in house conditions it is possible to provide an individual approach to the child. If the program of training, education, a daily routine in kindergarten are focused on the average child, then houses are an opportunity to consider personal features and tendencies of the kid taking into account which to set the mode of occupations, walks and meal.

Plus of house education is also that the child under continuous reliable supervision. In house conditions it is possible to provide also higher quality of food. It is especially actual for the children suffering from food allergies.

Houses the child risks to catch infectious diseases or parasites from peers much less.

However some pluses of education in house conditions can turn back minuses. It is known that some diseases are easier transferred at children`s age and at the same time are not followed by complications. It is, for example, a rubella, chicken pox, a mumps … In this plan the kindergarten gives more opportunities for immunity acquisition.

The individual mode of occupations can complicate further process of accustoming to school because the child will be forced to go to school not when it is convenient to it, and according to the schedule. The later it will face with the first it “is necessary“, the it will be more difficult to it further.

In house conditions much less opportunities for acquisition by the child of social skills, than in kindergarten. The communication with peers and foreign adults happening in preschool institution in itself demands a certain training and persistence from parents of house. In a garden children learn to share with each other toys, to concede, make a compromise, to sympathize, moderate the desires and to consider interests of others. In house conditions the kid acquires these skills a little later. Interesting fact: if the child goes to kindergarten, then by 4 years its egocentrism strongly decreases or absolutely disappears; at house education it occurs only by 6 years, and sometimes the egocentrism remains also till 7 - 8 years.

So to be or not to be to kindergarten in the child`s life? What to choose: kindergarten or house education? I think, each of parents has to decide itself that he will suit his child more. Besides it is necessary to consider also whether the child is ready to the beginning of a new stage in the life under the name “kindergarten“.

Or perhaps to choose golden mean between a garden and the house? There is, for example, such practice: till 4 years the child is on house education, but approximately from 3 years visits several times a week the developing circles. However from 4 years the child everything is starts going to kindergarten. In this case pluses of both educational systems it is available.
