Eksternatny form of education. What should be considered?

Already in the Russian high schools exist many years a form of eksternatny education. In other words, the pupil can study school objects independently, in parallel using the released time for more profound preparation for receipt in institute.

For this reason every year more and more seniors become “eksternatnik“. But besides obvious pluses, there are also minuses about which you should not forget.

The external studies have the types. Let`s consider each of them.

1. Schools - the external studies. Special educational institutions in which teenagers hand over a number of program objects in 4 months. For example, the first two weeks pupils listen to lectures on a chemistry course, and then at once pass test. The remained half a year seniors are only registered at school and quietly prepare for examinations. Most of parents of graduates consider this option ideal.

Really, problems with we understand a subject here, most likely, will not be. However there can be difficulties of other plan, first of all - change of collective. On the one hand, at such schools the children who are adjusted for study that cannot but please adults study. Whether but to each child it will be comfortable if he knows that in his native class children together write control, decorate a class by New year, cry on the last call and danced on final? It is worth thinking many times before depriving the child let not influencing the future, but pleasant memories of the last school year.

2. The external studies at own school. Let the number of seniors and their parents, small, but impressive over our country, are solved on studying all objects independently. Adults agree with the director, and the pleased teenager goes home and takes hated physics in hand that, having read the textbook from cover to cover to get rid of this science forever...

But so happens not always. More precisely, not always. As practice shows, very often at first the senior “gets used“ to the freedom. At first can last about several months, to indescribable horror of parents. Besides the eksternatnik can not learn some objects at all, counting on an arrangement of the good-natured teacher. And it is good if the teacher really pulls a good mark. And if is not present?

And business at all not that the child is lazy or irresponsible. Even the most obligatory people can break under freedom which sharply fell down them. Transferring children to a full eksternatny basis, it is necessary to discuss with them whether really they are ready to such number of free time.

3. Partial external studies. the Name speaks for itself: these are the same external studies, but it is possible to take under the responsibility not all objects. It is impossible to study independently those disciplines in which the graduate passes the Unified State Examination (however if your child the excellent student and is engaged individually with the teacher, then it is possible to agree), and also physical culture. It is actually entered not at all schools, and on each teachers` meeting following the results of a year the administration solves, there will be such form of education next year or not.

Actually, and problems of those who on the partial external studies, almost the same, as at those who on full. However the active ecstasy freedom will not be: in total - the pupil visits lessons of some objects, writes tests and homework on an equal basis with all answers. And at the same time, the provided piece of will can be enough that the senior handed over all ekternatny objects at the end of May, instead of the planned middle of December.

Not without reason the external studies in all its forms exist in our country: many ambitious children thanks to it prepare for higher education institution of dream more persistently. And at the same time early farewell to school does not mean early farewell to the childhood: the seventeen-year-old graduate can quite begin to behave as the carefree child.

But if you consider this form of education as effective and for hundred percent are sure of the child, then why not to try?
