May 9. Why to children the nobility about war?

World War II ended 67 years ago. Less and less veterans gathers every year for the most significant holiday, remains eyewitnesses of those terrible events less. Gradually memory of the grandfathers, great-grandfathers and great-great-grandfathers leaves our consciousness, apparently, it was so long ago … as it is healthy

I if that person who the hands shaped the Victory still survived your family, went on reconnaissance, protected our country from the enemy. Protected the house, the family. Protected also us, even without knowing about it, - the living nowadays, grandsons and the subsequent generations in the free country. If not a Great victory, who knows, that would be with our country.

Earlier in my family there were two grandfathers - the participant of the Second World War. They lived in different corners of our country and were never familiar with each other. Now their four - to my to two were added two more grandfathers of the husband. To all of them has the luck to return from war by live. And their great-granddaughters can be proud of all four.

The great-grandfather Stepan is the gunner who dropped in in war eighteen-year-old in 43 - m to year. In 44 - the m was seriously injured and returned home. Married, grew up three children, and even managed to find grandsons. We have not enough its photos, and I remember his face only vaguely, but I know that he, as well as all my grandfathers, was a hero.

The great-grandfather Mikhail is the infantryman who got to the beginning of war, accepted in its winter 41 - 42 years near Moscow on skis in a maskhalata. It was seriously injured too, in a leg. Also returned to forge a victory already in the back. And there it was waited too by a wedding. And then he gave birth to the son - my father. My second grandfather so never also learned that his sort proceeded because died earlier, than my parents got acquainted. And let he does not know about us - we remember him.

My daughters have two more great-great-grandfathers.

The great-grandfather Georgi was a tankman. Also passed all war. Surprisingly, but it found the destiny in the war too. Somehow our great-grandmother collected a parcel on the front for soldiers, then collected such parcels from the back - with warm things, mittens, socks. And here the soldier whose surname we carry now got its parcel. And in a parcel there was a letter. The very young girl Anna wrote that she hopes that her mittens will warm hands to the soldier, and he will battle even better against the enemy. And the young soldier Gosha answered the girl, and they began to correspond. And they had something else for the sake of what it was necessary to stand on this war. And he stood, stood for the sake of the future five children. Though then he, of course, could not think that he waits for him. The main thing was “day to stay and night to hold on“.

The great-grandfather Leonid is living. He is 95 years old, 50 of which he gave to steel works. He forged the Victory in the back. And as know, maybe, my grandfathers on a front line beat from the weapon which it melted for them in the back. Leonid Ignatyevich does not like to speak about war. On May 9 it gets the best suit with an award for dedicated work in the period of the Great Patriotic War. He does not speak about himself, he remembers the companions who are already dead. We tremblingly congratulate him this day and, as before, we wish him long years of life.

Here it, our live past., It seems, and long ago there was a war, and all the same - recently. Yes, each family will have the history of participation in war. And it is represented to me very important that children knew this history. Therefore every year on May 9 I tell children about their great-grandfathers. That they held in the heart this in remembrance. That the desire to be at enmity, with each other, with other people did not lodge in their souls. Because war is a hardest test both on a front line, and in the back. And above all I want that our children had not to endure ominous breath of war.

We watch movies about war and surely we bear flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Usually on a memorial we with other parents start balls with the paper zhuravlika attached to them. We start in advance because schools and gardens orderly go to a monument in the last working days before a holiday.

Also blue balls fly to the sky, and they bear white zhuravlik - messengers of peace. Both tears slide, and we in a uniform rush whisper dream of all times and the people: “If only there was no war“.
