Konstantin Simonov. Stalin`s favourite, or one of the last poets - romantics?

Quite recently I took part in discussion on a network. My opponent as proof of the thesis, whether that “all 70 years of the Soviet power - a shame and during this time in the USSR did not occur nothing good“, whether that “all history of Russia a shame and ever nothing good occurred here“, gave the piece which is “fallen in love“ to it “from Simonov“:
“... So kill him quickly
How many times you will see it,
is So much times it and kill.“
my opponent believed that he secured us, his opponents, by the facts. What to argue with it? I Believe
even senseless to provide here all magnificent poem “Kill the German“ (ah what netollerantny name). If it chose those several percent which seemed it a dokaztelstvo of “misanthropy“ of Simonov from all poem written to the heat of fierce battles, having thrown out as superfluous nearly all 100% of the talented, strong and emotional poem. whether
Should say that it to apprehend other Simonov and could not.

of the Village, village, village As though on them all Russia met with churchyards,

So who is he was - Konstantin Simonov? One of the most talented writers of the 20th century, or “Stalin`s favourite“ and “the communistic general from literature“? Kirill Simonov was born

15 on November (28), 1915 in Petrograd, in a noble family. His mother, the princess Aleksandra Leonidovna Obolenskaya (1890-1975), and the father - Mikhail Agafangelovich Simonov (on March 29, 1871 -?) the general - the major, the participant of World War I, the Gentleman of different awards.
In World War I his father was missing, and the young widow with the little son on hands married a kraskom, the former colonel of the Russian army again.

Young Kirill lived on garrisons, then studied in a fabzavucha, worked as the mechanic at plant, earning a necessary working experience for receipt in IFLI.
began to Write verses early, by the end of study at institute it was already widely known. Though, for the present, in narrow circles of experts on poetry.

The young man slightly burred. Hesitating of it, for the literary pseudonym he chose a name Konstantin, it is possible that telling the name and a surname it should not utter the letter “r“ which was not giving in to it.
After the termination of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION came to postgraduate study of IFLI. From there left the war correspondent on Halkhin - the Goal. And did not return to postgraduate study any more.

And to Halkhin - the Goal he wrote a lot of “good poetry“. Poems “Winner“, “Ice Slaughter“ and “Suvorov“ - publications of the litinstitutsky student, but... Its halkhingolsky poems and verses brought it wide popularity, and its “Tank“ was embodied and became reality.

... When a monument would order to Erect to me
all dead here, in the desert
Ya, on a granite hewn wall
Put the tank with eye-sockets empty

Ya would dig out it as it is -
In holes, in sheets of iron of fragmentary
the Unfading military valor
Is in these scars, burned wounds

having climbed up a pedestal highly, Let as the witness will confirm
by right.
Yes! We were given a victory hardly.
Yes! The enemy was brave. The more our glory.
... the stanza of the poem which became a monument - still standing in the field of former battle.

Work of the journalist, writing all of new and new verses, poems. Writing of plays which made excellent success at the viewer of that time. And the movies shot according to those plays look and remember and today.

Then war. Big and terrible in which he took active part. As the war correspondent. Went on the submarine to coast of Romania, went with a sea landing to Zapolyaryi. “Table - correspondent“ (“From Moscow to Brest...“), become the anthem of war correspondents, describes the truth and only the truth which he knew more than well.

Them, war correspondents, was then much - talented and fearless. Including - and fearless from ignorance of the truth of war. They removed, sent articles to edition by phone by phone - and perished. In fights, in environments, under bombardments.
was very lucky Konstantin Simonov. He survived. And it was even noted by an award of “the Red Banner“ in May of the 1942nd year.

So why then about it this whisper about “favourite Stalin“ and other nonsense rushed?
I do not want to impose someone the point of view, but it seems to me that it began with Khrushchev who should have found whipping boys. And successful and talented, but to anybody not making up poet and the prose writer was an excellent target.
Eulogized to Stalin? - Yes. (Though it is no more of others. It is rather even less.)
Became young people still - the editor of the large magazine? - Yes. (Though on merits.)
So what else to understand?!

And he clenched teeth and continued to write. Both verses and prose. About war. About love. About life.
I its trilogy about “Live and dead“ became not smaller success, than military “Wait for me...“, “You remember Alyosha...“, or “Kill the German“.

And when to it present “put by sight“ an immoral way of life and three wives... So his three wives (from the thirtieth to the seventieth - he lived with everyone not year and not five years) do not come within miles the number of wives (and their age) at current actors and other “glamurshchik“

Ya I consider that Konstantin Simonov was very talented poet and the prose writer. He was very lucky not to die in war though he was at war honestly. Also it was awarded on merits. It, of course, had shortcomings, but whispers about it - result of envy of lacks of talent.
