Eight hundred parts. How to adapt to difficult conditions?

Recently I got a site of 8,5 weave on the former peat bog. The fertile layer was 5 cm thick, below - sand, clay, quicksands. On the diagonal of my site gardeners already managed to tread a footpath, and all who wanted to cut off a way went on it.

My extreme site in association was not squared, and trapezoid, and from three parties is surrounded with roads. Then I was ready to change the hundred parts on any other, and now - for anything.

Why? Because managed to adapt to difficult conditions, enclosed a lot of work in a garden and managed to get used to this to the beautiful, surrounded from all directions with the wood place.

I devoted the first years to grubbing of stubs and alignment of a site. By preparation of the territory under gardening association large trees cut down, and roots left. Many gardeners for alignment of the earth employed the bulldozer. At me then with money was hardly, and thanks to it I did not lose natural structure of the soil on a site that protected it further from vymyvaniye and deformations.

When I started construction of the dwelling, in the country there was a ruin. To build there was nothing, and everyone managed as he could. While I constructed a change house, lived in tent, cooked food on a fire. Located the place for a campfire almost in the center of a site, and it, by the way, turned out so successful that so there and remained.

The design of my second house was prompted to me by the neighbor. For fun advised to make a wattle fence of young birches, kotoryerosl around in unlimited number, to cover a framework with clay and to cover with a roof.

I treated this council seriously, and weaving turned for me into fascinating occupation. Instead of the base I filled a big sandy pillow of 6 x 6 m in size and 50 cm high. Laid a binding from logs of 2,5 m in size on it and a chetyrekhskatny roof. Closed up intervals between trunks a moss and from two parties covered with clay. Then on a roof laid the rubberized kapron, and with external and inside whitewashed walls lime. Arranged a clay floor which laid homespun paths in a hut. For a dream and rest built two-storeyed polat.

A niche for clothes, the table, benches, regiments for ware and books made too.

In the first years of development of a site I tried to grow up vegetables and berry bushes. But harvests were poor. Except my inability, low fertility of the soil and excess of water affected. In the summer ground waters on a site - approximately at the level of 20 cm from the Earth`s surface. Potatoes tubers, for example, which I dug in to the damp earth just decayed, having hardly managed to sprout.

Somehow the companion on institute presented me several allotments of peonies. Then in one book I read about cultivation of peonies on bulk beds. At once understood that this way I can solve two problems of the marshy soil at once: to increase fertility and to distance roots from ground waters. Therefore began to buy the good soil and to form bulk platforms 30-40 cm high

Tried to part various flower cultures, but remained rather not indifferent only to peonies. Gradually was engaged in creation of collections. As well as many beginners, at first filled up it spontaneously. But now I conform to the simple rules: I buy landing material only in reliable places where I will not be deceived; I do not seek to fill up a collection with the grades inclined to various diseases; I expand assortment of various groups of peonies. I exclude the unsuccessful purchases from a collection at once. I give peonies of “wrong“ grades to neighbors as anonymous.

I understand that the garden at collectors of peonies happens at decorative effect peak only a half of a season, but it does not confuse me. Impressions of the blossoming plantations usually so strong and concerning that I have enough them till next spring.
