What not so with an electrical wiring? Part 2

the Automatic machine feeding the light line can be disconnected at burn-out of a lamp. After that it, as a rule, can just be included, and you will easily see the burned-down lamp. But happens that in a lamp there is a short circuit of electrodes and the automatic machine is switched-off at once in inclusion attempt. Anything terrible!

For a start switch-off all switches. The automatic machine turned on? Most likely, malfunction in one of lamps which worked at the time of shutdown. Ideally it is necessary to turn out and check all lamps and, having replaced burned down, again to include. It long, but is safe. By the way, at the time of turning on of the “suspicious“ lamp (chandelier) I strongly recommend not to look at it. Turn away, it will protect eyes if the lamp blows up (at short circuits it rarely, but happens).

Often closed lamp is not turned out from the boss. There is it (though not always) from - for what the socle of a lamp burns to contacts of the boss and, trying to unscrew it, you damage a cartridge rather. In this case it is better to call the electrician (in my opinion). In principle, it is not difficult to take a socle, but the master will make it better and besides the boss on new will manage to replace (most likely, it is required). Keep in mind that at short circuit can otgoret also the wires suitable to the boss. So replacement of a lamp does not guarantee either elimination of short circuit, or safety at inclusion at all. And if the automatic machine does not manage to be turned on, just previously switch-off the switch of a faulty chandelier. In 90% of cases it will help, and other lamps will work.

Nevertheless it is possible to take the burned lamp and independently. First of all switch-off the automatic machine! Never be limited to shutdown of the switch. Theoretically the switch has to break off a phase, completely cutting off power the lamp. In practice happens 50 on 50. In this case on a chandelier the phase remains. And if, for example, the case of a chandelier is grounded, it can lead to very undesirable consequences. Therefore switch-off the automatic machine and before touching any contacts or the bared wires, check their indicator tension. By the way, will not be superfluous to check also the indicator (especially if you seldom use it) on obviously working socket.

it is the simplest to b to break not getting out lamp, and then nippers and thin flat-nose pliers to take a socle. Most likely, it is necessary to tear off directly in the boss on a piece. Put on a plastic bag a lamp, clamp a mouth a hand (having just in case put on gloves) and break a lamp the hammer or passatizha. Together with a package we delete splinters. Nippers you cling edge of a socle, you take a bite and you turn nippers, winding thin metal of a socle on sponges. The strip of metal will come off, and you repeat procedure until the remains of a socle do not manage to be unscrewed or you do not break and pull out everything on pieces. Only consider that in the majority of cartridges the carving in which the lamp socle is twisted represents a metal insert in the plastic or ceramic case of the boss. Sometimes, especially in ceramic cartridges, it easily gets out together with a lamp. Being active nippers, do not break with a socle and internal part of the boss at the same time.

Unscrewing a lamp, pay attention : often it turns together with the boss. Generally, the boss has to be fixed on the chandelier case, but it is not always rather good. The lamp is not turned out, you continue to twist, the thin wires passing in the boss are twisted among themselves, then come off contacts of the boss … There is a probability of short circuit of wires among themselves or on the grounded chandelier case. So changing lamps (especially on old chandeliers), you watch that you rotate. If the boss moves together with a lamp, try to record it the second hand.

One of the main electric devices in our house - an electric stove . By rules it is connected to the separate automatic machine and always grounded. Sometimes happens that together with a plate (from the same line) sockets are powered 1 - 2 kitchen (as a rule, close to a plate). If beats out the automatic machine for an electric stove, first of all switch off all rings. If the automatic machine turns on - most likely, short circuit in one of rings or an oven. Where it is concrete, easy to define, including them in turn. If it was succeeded to find “culprit“, just do not use her.

If you filled in a plate with liquid, most often nothing terrible occurs. The plate is calculated on it. Nevertheless water can break isolation - most likely, in this case will beat out UZO, having cut off power all apartment. If it occurred, switch-off all automatic machines and try to include UZO. It`s a go? Turn on in turn all automatic machines, except the electric stove automatic machine. Also call the electrician.

If the electric device beats with current , it means that somewhere in it isolation is broken and the case appears energized. Usually it is possible to be convinced of it, having concerned the indicator of metal parts of the case. When you concern the case, at the same time touching by the second hand, a leg or a-headed conducting surface (a pool, a water pipe, a metal fencing), through you current will begin to flow. Tension on the case can vary, as well as extent of defeat: from “poshchipyvaniye“ to full-fledged electric blow.

Theoretically it is possible in old houses (without UZO) or in the absence of grounding (which has to be brought to the socket). Therefore all electric devices which are working with water and having the metal case (the washing machine, a teapot, a plate, ideally and the system unit of the computer), have to be connected to sockets with the operating grounding. Externally such socket has at the edges metal “short moustaches“, and a device fork - the corresponding metal plates. Only the socket has to be correctly connected. In new houses this by itself, in houses without grounding and UZO address experts, they will draw a separate line for connection “potentially dangerous“ devices.

To use the devices “noticed“ that they “fight current“ I categorically do not advise.

And here if lamps burn too brightly or dimly in comparison with usual heat if difficult devices (the TV or the computer) are switched-off and the refrigerator works with an unusual sound - it is time to sound alarm. It is possible to ask neighbors (including living above or below) as the situation at them is. At someone tension can fall, at someone grow.

Without going into details, I will make the practical recommendation : immediately disconnect all equipment from a network and call the electrician. Malfunction not in your apartment or maybe not on your floor - and therefore you, and neighbors risk that the household appliances will fail. Most likely, somewhere at an entrance break of the general zero wire and a power surge in apartments is about to happen. And automatic machines will not save from him, only prompt actions of repair personnel will help.
