How to help the sluggish child? Whether
Often you should tell to the child such words: “Well you dig all the time? Eternally you sleep on a clothes line! How many it is possible to put on? Hardly - hardly soul in a body!“ If yes, that this article especially for you.
Most likely, you the emotional, active person, and your child as opposed to you sluggish, inert. The patience and expectation do not bring changes in his behavior. Requests, punishments and reproaches do only worse.
Since morning, bringing together the child in kindergarten, you begin to be nervous: chews the breakfast hardly - hardly, puts on also, it is necessary to hurry constantly. In a garden the same picture.
The first half a year in the first class more or less successful, then begin the infinite two: reading, the letter, mathematics trouble, homework should be done for 5 hours, at a lesson the child is in time nothing. Teachers consider it incapable and badly thinking, or capable, but lazy. Generally it seems the quiet and peaceful child, and problems is higher than a roof … Is unconditional
, fast rate of our life cannot but harmful be postponed on mentality. Constantly hurrying, abusing adults cause neurosis which develops frequent headaches over time in the child, the sleep is interrupted, fatigue increases, interest in study is lost.
A problem of the sluggish child not that he lazy, harmful or not capable of anything, just at him is the individual rate of activity which is formed according to features of nervous system of the person.
The great Russian scientist I. P. Pavlov allocated four types of nervous system which have something in common with four types of temperament established by Hippocrates in the 4th century BC:
1. Strong, balanced, mobile type of nervous system - the sanguine person;
2. Strong, balanced, inert type - the phlegmatic person;
3. Strong, unbalanced, mobile type - the choleric person;
4. Weak, unbalanced, inert - the melancholiac.
Respectively, the sluggish child - most likely the melancholiac or the phlegmatic person. It should be noted that pure types of temperaments in the nature meet quite seldom, most often it combinations, and it is possible to tell rather about prevalence of this or that type in the person.
It is unfair to say that some of types it is better than another. Each of them best of all is suitable for a certain activity and is not suitable at all for another therefore there are no good or bad types of temperament. Having such knowledge, we can help the sluggish child to adapt quicker in the world surrounding him.
So how to help the child to be in time? First of all, not to hurry him, not to adjust and not to abuse for sluggishness, to forget about work “for a while“. Let`s it develop the, certain speed at which it will surely work.
Exercises with alternation of speeds will be useful: to clap (at first quickly, then slowly, then again quickly), to alternate races and walking or other physical exercises, to change of speed, to knock on a table fingers, etc. After the child will learn to change the speed, it will be possible to increase speed gradually.
Alternate tasks which trouble the child, with those which turn out well. It will help not to go in cycles in failures and to keep confidence in the forces. Surely do a break each 30 minutes, try that all homeworks were performed during daylight hours, accustom the child to physical exercises and regularly you go for a walk.
The understanding of features of temperament, implementation of recommendations, and also attentiveness and keenness to a condition of the child will allow it to facilitate adaptation in society, and over time it will differ already not so strongly from the peers.
Certainly, it is long and laborious work, but its non-performance can harmful affect on health of the kid, and consequences will be even more catastrophic.
