How to write article to Windows 7?

Having read heading, the majority will think: “It what, is serious? What the question such, frankly foolish is? You open any text editor and...“ And that, misters and ladies? You print! And you do not write at all. I am going to write. By hand.

This idea - not a whim, but desire to step quicker in the future. Two years ago I would not believe that I will do in work with the computer without “mouse“ manipulator. But here - neither a rug, nor a rodent! More convenient tool forced out less convenient. Occurred, in deep philosophical meaning, evolution of system of people - the car! Within this article I predict return to writing.

I will be, alas, prejudiced and I will consider the possibilities on writing of the text one-sidedly - on the example of Windows 7 opportunities. To fans of Apple and linuksoida I suggest not to arrange holywar in comments, and to share the experience hand-written input - most interestingly, and purchase of iMac is postponed indefinitely. To establish some Ubuntu that then all evening to adjust drivers of the tablet, there is no desire at all.

The version of an operating system - Maximum, therefore perhaps some functions described by me will be inaccessible in less advanced assemblies. So, what guys from Redmond prepared for a jump in the future? In Windows 7 at connection of the tablet automatically there is a virtual keyboard with support of hand-written input, and two options disappear in the Control panel: “Parameters of the tablet computer“ and “Feather and touch input“. The last offers a set of gestures for the graphic tablet in combination with the touch screen.

Why the feather is required for the touch screen which producers sharpen under human fingers, remained unclear. Gloomy genius of Ballmer? The first option serves for calibration of the touch screen and allows to start the virtual keyboard. More precisely, the appendix - the werewolf, able to pretend to be both the keyboard (screen), and “paper“ for the letter.

We will not hurry - we will begin with the virtual keyboard. Tried two ways: on the touch screen to point a finger (see a photo at the beginning of the paragraph), and - to stick the second option with the cursor on letters (result better, however, by this time I accustomed and found a point). Left not all that well. However, at the fast press and on usual, is enough for an equipment room, the keyboard of mistakes. However, to print all the same leaves quicker (so far). And then, who told that the main thing in creativity is a speed?

First there was such shortcoming as an unsuccessful arrangement of an application window. It hides either at the left, or on the right on the screen and a little gets out when the cursor is brought to edge of the display. But here trouble - sometimes in this region there are buttons of the interface of any appendix (the browser, for example). Also you want to stick into the button, and you get to “management of gestures“ which is right there developed and occupies the lower third of the screen (well not a third, and about one fifth at exact calculation, but all the same disturbs, when there is no in this panel of requirement). I was already wanted to refuse the letter and to disconnect the appendix when guessed to get into “Parameters of the tablet computer“ and had an opportunity to pin start of the virtual keyboard on taskbar, near the language panel. There he also lives.

There now, now we will switch the keyboard to hand-written input and we will try to write something. It is possible to enter the text in any appendix: notebook, browser, graphic editor. By the letter in Word there are two options: or there is hand-written “cuneiform writing“, or it if to write on the virtual keyboard, turns into the printing text. To publish in the document where you wrote something, it is possible. But the letters written in the editor, in fact, just drawings which will lie over the printing text. Slightly better the situation is in OneNote - it is means for creation of notes from MS Office. The printing text is divided into blocks which it is possible to have in the document randomly, and on an empty seat to enter notes or remarks. At the same time the printed text can be emphasized or selected with a marker as many like to do in the present paper documents.

As for an alternative text editor - Writer from the Open Office set, it is impossible to write directly in it. However, there is article on the Internet about a description of the Chinese hieroglyphs when using Open Office in Ubuntu, but support of the Russian letter during experiment did not manage to be found. Therefore it is necessary to offer the lower part of the screen (one heel) for the appendix of virtual input.

For some reason it seems to me that it is possible to interest in such pieces the child. In a case when the child refuses to master spelling in the standard way, once he offers the way advanced. Not nevertheless to play Crysis 2! It is possible to scribble on the computer as much as necessary. If usual, analog, paper does not blush, that digital and even less so. Similarity of the e-mail with drawing as if returns us in a point of creation of the first pictograms. History develops on a spiral, and we were lucky (or it was not lucky) to appear at the time of a new round. And the sixth production cycle not far off - remained - that years five only. But about cycles another time, and finally a historical example of importance of the letter by hand.

Being already an old man, Friedrich Nietzsche received as a gift the typewriter. It helped the philosopher to continue literary activity. Nietzsche losing sight mastered a blind method of the press and could type the text blindly. However, transition from the letter for printing changed (as Nietzsche`s editors believed) style of his compositions - made it simple, nearly cable. The philosopher agreed with remarks and transferred fault to the typewriter. Like, by the letter we connect thought and the written word physically, through a hand, and here any printing device (turning on also the keyboard of the computer, up to which the philosopher did not live) becomes the intermediary between the author and his text. And the intermediary introduces already the changes in the relations of two subjects, whether it be the seller and the buyer (growth cent) or the author and a muse (a tvitterization of compositions).

I, of course, would accuse not the typewriter, but an old age and the increasing Friedrich Nietzsche`s madness, but, having read enough the Internet - compositions - from blogs to network novels, I will not begin to challenge importance of the letter for development of a brain. Let so far all this no more, than experiment, but perhaps, shortly will be possible to revive an epistolary genre, and we will begin to write really each other e-mails!
