His name was cut on a memorable plate from South side of a column of St. Hristofor at the Lviv Armenian cathedral (in an inscription it is told that he is the knight who updated this sculpture in memory of Leon Avgustinovich in 1877).

Among them we meet merchants and poets, playwrights and priests, judges of “the Armenian right“, jewelers and scientists. Jan Antonevich (1879 - 1940) was the famous Lviv lawyer, the head of the Arkhidiotsezialny union of Armenians in Lviv, lake Karol Boloz - Antonevich (1807 - 1852) is a popular religious poet, the preacher and the composer - the author of religious anthems. One of the most outstanding representatives of this family - the brilliant art critic, the dean of the Lviv university, since 1892 - professor of history of the modern art, the associate professor of the Munich university, the full member of the Krakow academy of Sciences Jan Boloz - Antonevich (1858 - 1922). He was the only professional art critic not only who was seeing monuments of the Armenian secular architecture in the Western Ukraine, but also left the most valuable records about them in works of “Cechy swieckiej architektury Ormian polskich“ and “to O sztuce polskich Ormian (to architektura, malarstwo, ornamentyka)“. On its initiative in 1904 at the Lviv university the department of Armenian where the prof. of the lake Bogdan Davydovich and Karapet Keuprulyan who wrote the “Grammar of Armenian“ published in Lviv in 1938 taught drevnearmyansky and modern Armenian languages was open. Vikkenty - Ferrary, so called Zadok (Tsadok) to monastic a post-threshing barn, was born in rather poor Armenian family living in Stanislav (sovr. Ivano - Frankovsk). Studied in a city gymnasium upon termination of which some time edified in the town of Otyniya near Stanislav. In 1831 the capable young man goes to the Lviv university, but soon gives up study, accepts monastic vows and enters an award of Dominicans. But in the monastic environment the initiative and inquisitive young man got accustomed badly, including, obviously, from - for national focused researches as studying of history of the West Ukrainian Armenians was one of the main directions of its scientific work throughout all life. From 1845 to 1846 it was transferred three times from one monastery to another, from - for what he lost the unique library and a collection of prints. In 1848 during revolution in Austria he was elected the chairman of National council and the magistrate in Tysmenitsa. In 1839 - 1842 and 1851 - 1853 he taught on closed filosofsko - theological courses for monks in Lviv, but in 1853 finally refused teaching activity and all administrative posts in an award, having completely devoted himself to scientific work. It practically did not leave from monastic cells and 30 years Pidkamenya did not leave limits. However all this did not stir it intensive correspondence with the Ukrainian and Polish historians. In 1858 Zadok Baroncha was elected the corresponding member of Scientific organization in Krakow. The scientist wrote about 30 monographs and more than 70 articles on historical and philological subjects though not all from them were published - the part of his developments remained in manuscripts. Among its most known works - “Zywoty slawnych Ormian v Polsce“, “Pamientnik dziejow polskich z aktow urzedowych lwowskich ³ rekopisow“, “Rys dziejow ormianskich“ (the means obtained from sale of this book were transferred to construction of the Armenian church in Chernivtsi).
Such leading areas of their activity as trade, diplomacy, weapon and jewelry, weaving (production of zlatotkany products, silk and products from it, rug weaving), the fine arts and a book miniature are not mentioned in this short sketch of culture of the Lviv Armenians.
