How to put in order a personal plot after winter? Very soon the spring will fully come

into the own. Every March day at summer residents more and more cares increase: to buy seeds, to grow up seedling, to land it And still it is necessary to prepare the seasonal dacha for a new season.

Action plan

1. After snow thawing (before swelling of kidneys) we cut off krone of fruit-trees.

2. In the second decade we clear shtamba of the died-off bark and we are engaged in treatment grew dull also the wounds formed from having broken or damages by animals (for example, hares).

3. Before redigging of the soil we spray trees and we introduce organic fertilizers.

4. We collect branches, leaves and other vegetable remains in compost heaps or holes.

5. At the beginning of the third decade we bleach shtamba and the lower parts of branches limy milk with addition of a geksakhloran (300 g on 10 l of solution).

6. In process of drying of the soil we harrow it in pristvolny circles.

7. During the whole month we do a reinoculation of plants.

Cutting

Along with fertilizer and an irrigation of a scrap is very important way which allows to regulate growth, productivity of trees and quality of fruits. The best term of cutting is the dormant period of fruit and berry plants. In many regions trees begin to cut off in the middle of March (at a temperature not lower minus 2 - x degrees) when the danger of hard frosts passes. At lower temperature wood becomes withdrawal pains, and cuts do not turn out equal. It is the best of all to finish cutting before swelling of kidneys not to remove the nutrients necessary for a plant. Depending on a look, age of trees and their state extent of cutting has to be different:

of the Apple-tree, pear. At young trees with sprawling, drooping krone of a branch cut in the place of a bend, thus as if transferring krone to the branches growing up. At grades with the pyramidal, squeezed krone it is tried to be expanded and cut off on the contrary in depth. For improvement of quality of fruits it is necessary to thin out fruit branches on the periphery. Extent of cutting of such trees should not be too strong, otherwise emergence of a large number of recovery escapes will cause excessive solidification of trees.

Plum. during fructification thin out a large number of weak prirost. Long escapes (over 50 cm) shorten for formation of young lateral branches and compact kroner. At mature trees for strengthening of growth delete the ends of old branches to lateral branchings.

Apricot. Long prirosta shorten on a half or a third of length, and at silnovetvyashchikhsya grades also thin out them. To increase winter hardiness of flower kidneys, in May - June do summer cutting. The dry, sick and damaged branches cut out.

Walnut.

At a scrap only 6 - 10 skeletal branches are left b. Kroner should be thinned out annually, deleting at the same time the dried-up and intertwining branches, and too long shortening. The axial branch has to be thicker and longer, than departing from it lateral. During fructification carry out moderate shortening of branches and poorly thin out the small growing branches. The huge number of small one-year escapes on which the harvest is put is as a result created.

Frosts damage crowns in exclusively severe winters, but their skeletal parts can suffer also at usual frosts. Morozoboina and burns carry to to serious damages trees.

Morozoboina longitudinal cracks which can settle down both on a bark surface, and in a tree core represent. They are shown in the form of spots on the frosted-over sites of bark and wood, and also on shtamba from North side (especially under the bases of branches).

Bark burns develop from - for actions of direct sunshine in the form of darkenings on shtamba and branches. More often in sunny windless days of March when bark of trees from South side heats up to 15 C, and to northern temperature of vegetable fabric is close to air temperature. After sunset temperature falls, plant cells do not manage to pass training and perish. The annual burning of one same place on a tree leads to formation of an ulcer (wound). Excess of humidity in the soil, excessive introduction of nitrogen fertilizers and other factors which prevent full maturing of wood by fall considerably strengthen a susceptibility of trees to burns. Autumn whitewashing of trees is considered the most effective way of avoidance or decrease in degree of burns of bark.

Fruitful to you works on your personal plots and a rich harvest!
