Nadezhda Abrikosova and Carel Kramarzh. Love story as part of world history?
In 17 years - in marriage (did not put to sit up!) . One very rich family became related with another, and merchant marriage is not less important, than dynastic. But the merchant daughter, the wife and mother of four children, becomes a wife the prime minister - the minister of other country. Second lady of foreign state.
Merchant families - an interesting subject for researches. In them always sought to keep patriarchal character. The well-known Moscow family of Hludov was not an exception. One peasant from the Ryazan province based the largest Moscow merchant sort which was engaged in the cotton industry. The efficient enterprising sons who expanded business were born (and not forgetting about charity), beautiful daughters were born. Became related marriages with Mamontov, Morozov, became related also with Apricot.
Abrikosova - other strong merchant Moscow sort. He is more familiar to us: after nationalization all confectioneries of the founder were renamed in Babayevo (in honor of the revolutionary).
Once from the Penza province there arrived an elderly peasant, he also became the founder of a dynasty. His grandson Alexey Ivanovich had 22 children, one of sons was married to Hludov` daughter.
Nadezhda Nikolaevna was born on September 30, 1862 in Hludov` family. It was very beautiful young woman (the photo can be found in the Internet). In 1880 she was married to Alexey Alekseevich Abrikosov. Nadezhda Abrikosova gave rise in this marriage of four children. And those actors of Abrikosova (the Vakhtangov Theatre and a set of movies) whom we know are lineal descendants of Nadezhda Nikolaevna (Andrey Lvovich Abrikosov and his son Grigory Andreevich Abrikosov are a grandson and Nadezhda Nikolaevna`s great-grandson). As the father and the son they acted in “A wedding in the Robin“ - in roles of Balyasny and the ataman Gritsian Tavrichesky.
Carel Kramarzh (27. 12. 1860 - 26. 05. 1937) - the first prime minister - the minister of Czechoslovakia after obtaining independence. Got a fine education at the European universities. Became the party leader of mladochekh, was the deputy of parliament. In 1890 arrived to Moscow where got acquainted with a couple Apricot. About this meeting V. I. Nemirovich`s memoirs - Danchenko remained. Abrikosova were very educated people, in their house there were actors, philosophers, writers, scientists. Alexey Abrikosov founded the “Questions of Philosophy and Psychology“ magazine.
The Czech from next, by then the unfriendly empire, was fascinated by everything. Not least - the beauty Nadezhda. And, probably, already then there were mutual feelings which were fated to pass severe tests.
Also other meetings - already on its homeland followed. Then correspondence and what was started! On mix frantsuzsko - cheshsko - Russian of languages of the letter were written every other day. If the answer was not in time, from Prague to Moscow there were telegrams with a disturbing question: what happened why silence?
Alexey Abrikosov is Nadezhda`s husband - too was not an example of marital fidelity. The wife has a talk with the husband, the church did not agree to divorce, then he had the second family with Anna Dokudovskaya, for that time - too not lonely. Subsequently in this union 6 children appeared. But, at last, a divorce was got. Quite unusual for those times.
In 10 years of separate life in others already families when Nadezhda Abrikosova constantly went to prolong the passport, and Carel strove on divorce in Constantinople, the long-awaited document was received. Alexey Abrikosov was found guilty of marital infidelity, to him was forbidden to enter forever new marriage, and - it is authorized to Nadezhda.
Carel and Nadezhda`s wedding took place in the Crimea and on an orthodox ceremony. Kramarzh passed into Orthodoxy. At the same time Nadezhda Nikolaevna became the Austrian citizen.
Together they lived about 40 years, and it was not just happy marriage. He was full of difficulties and dangers. Carel Kramarzh was fond of ideas of a Pan-Slavism, always sought for rapprochement of Austria and Russia. But in 1914 World War I began and he was arrested (despite parliamentary immunity) on a charge of high treason. Nadezhda became the wife of the state criminal. The sentence was very severe. At first it was talked of “death by hanging“, then punishment was replaced for 15 years of penal servitude.
The turn to Nadezhda came to strive on rescue of the husband. It passed this test with honor, combining circulations on offices of the Austrian masters with visit of prison Myollensdorf where Carel pined. My husband was sentenced to death by hanging, but not to starvation ! - such is there was her proud call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria.
Whether its efforts, whether reaction of the public led to the fact that in 1917 Carel was amnestied. And in 1918 Kramarzh becomes the prime minister - the minister of Czechoslovakia. Live yes rejoice, but also in the homeland (unfortunate) was necessary to endure attempt, and in Russia there was already a terrible civil war.
Carel Kramarzha call “the father of the Russian emigration“ , and it is fair. The flow of refugees to Czechoslovakia was one of the biggest. All help went from own means of spouses. Cash flows was two: one to the Soviet Russia - as the help to relatives and acquaintances, the second - across Czechoslovakia and the whole world, as the help to emigrants. It is necessary to understand that in such time it is bad all: and that who remains in the ruined hungry country, and that who is thrown out from the homeland, most often “as poor as a church mouse“.
Helped all and always: To red cross, patients, children, the created cooperatives that people could work, to the Russian theater in Prague. At last, almost completely on means Kramarzhev (80%) was built the Orthodox church of the Dormition of the Theotokos.
There both of them are also buried, in a crypt of this temple. They died in a row, with a difference in several months.
Many tragic collisions of the European history of the first half of the 20th century were reflected in destinies of these two people. This love story you will not call tragic as at Heloise and Abailard, it was not disturbed by emperors and fathers (as to F. Liszt and Carolina), but it was completely interwoven into the general outline of world events.
