What is ISO?

Acquiring goods, on packing of goods we often see the mysterious inscription “ISO 9000“ and similar. What is behind this abbreviation?

In due time specialists of the International organization for standardization (International Organization for Standartization) developed family of the ISO 9000 standards which are at the moment the most popular at certification of systems of quality management. On the basis of these standards certification of the majority of the enterprises is made worldwide. In Russia own national state standard specification P ISO standard 9001 works, but national standards, on the other hand, not always admit other countries.

This system contains eight basic principles of quality management, here I also will tell about them in more detail.

Actually, these principles allow the management of the enterprise to introduce successfully at themselves quality management system which provides high quality of the product made by them.

Principle first. The aiming (orientation) to the consumer

Any enterprise irrespective of, it renders services or makes a product, satisfies certain needs of buyers. At the same time and the consumer depends in the inquiries on the supplier of goods or services. Therefore support of interrelation with the consumer is primary principle of SKM.

Principle second. The leading role of the head

Without analysis and planning of the direction of production and designation of main objectives in development of the enterprise harmonious development and existence of production in general is difficult to provide

. And for this reason it is important that the head not only exercised control, but also made rational organizational decisions. Activity of the management, according to the ISO standards, has to be directed to satisfaction of inquiries of the end user.

Principle third. Participation of the worker

only interest of the management cannot provide to

One due level of production, it is necessary that as the final product all workers were interested. Similar interest allows to use the employee`s potential most fully.

Principle fourth. Process as basis

Creation of resource management (commodity, intellectual etc.) it has to be organized as uniform and indissoluble process.

Principle fifth. System approach to management

the Organization of resource management as uniform process is possible

only on condition of the organization of the accurate management therefore the analysis and elimination of shortcomings of a control system (in management) are important and feasible by means of system approach.

Principle sixth.

the Stop at any stage of development of the company leads continuous improvement to lag from the competing productions that leads to decline in quality of production (services) of rather competitive goods.

Principle seventh. Decision-making on the basis of the analysis

needs to carry out by

Before decision-making the careful and detailed analysis both competitors, and the developing market situation.

Principle eighth. The relations with suppliers based on mutual benefit

Such approach in relationship allows to avoid deficiency of the accessories and other materials necessary for production.

The organization of production founded on these principles allows to certify production on compliance to the ISO standards.

What it gives to the end user, that is us? The fact that the goods bearing this sign are made in the conditions meeting the highest standards of production that provides its high quality.
