Than OLED - monitors is better than LCD - displays?

Scientifically - technical revolution walk forward, advancing sound speed. Therefore already not really - that we are also surprised to arrival of new fancy technologies which for the last decades more than one hundred came, probably.

And here on our court the next new miracle of equipment - the OLED technology is presented . What is it? The OLED technology is deciphered as Organic Light Emitting Diode (in translation from English - an organic light-emitting diode). Main difference from LCD that when using new technology organic compounds are applied by which when passing through them an electric impulse radiate light, and color of a light stream depends on what organic substance was taken. LCD is completely inorganic substance.

The second not less important difference is process of display of the picture. Monitors with application of the LCD technology have an illumination which is evenly distributed on all screen. Each pixel of the image is a crystal which when passing through it an electric impulse changes a svetoprovodimost (at the strongest tension light from illumination does not pass through a crystal at all). At once behind a crystal there are light filters which are responsible for color of this pixel.

At monitors with new technology illumination in general is absent since organic substance reproduces light and by that the saturation of black color is reached (what you will not tell about LCD - monitors).

The following difference is the viewing angle . You never noticed that if to take a detached view of the monitor or the liquid crystal TV at an acute angle, then colors change cardinally. And so, when using new technology of such distortions it is not observed.

One more important advantage of the OLED technology is its insignificant energy consumption due to lack of illumination. Also at the expense of it thickness of new displays was reduced to 1,4 mm and weight was significantly lost.

Fantastic prospects new technology: transparent monitors which pass through themselves light at the expense of what the image can be seen from two opposite sides (as in movies of the future); flexible displays which can be turned in a tubule as the newspaper.

This technology even became interesting not only as material for displays, but also just as a lighting source. Producers of illuminants became interested in it. In their opinion, organic light-emitting diodes can be used for creation of lighting panels which will radiate light of the required color. The OLED technology interested also producers of cars which were to liking energy saving organic light-emitting diodes. They are going to be used in elements of illumination of salon and as a light source in headlights.

Undoubtedly, the new OLED technology has big prospects in many spheres of activity of people. And it is possible, in the future our children will be surprised when we begin to change an energy saving fluorescent lamp at home - at them - that OLED wall-paper will light the apartment.
