As pears all - are sweet fruit, most often they are used in desserts and pastries especially as production of desserts (and pastries) is my favourite area in cookery.
The most known dessert from pears are pears “ Elena “ .
For 4 portions: 125 ml of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, cinnamon stick, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 big pears, 100 g of chocolate, 200 ml of cream, 1 tablespoon of cognac, 500 g of vanilla ice cream.
To boil water with sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. To wash up, dry, clear, to cut pears in half and to cut out a core. Halves of pears to weary under a cover on weak fire depending on size and degree of a maturity - from 8 to 12 minutes; to cool in syrup.
To break chocolate on small pieces and to kindle together with cream, continuously mixing, on small fire. To remove chocolate sauce from a plate and to gradually implicate in it cognac (at will).
In 4 dessert vases to lay out on a big ball of ice cream, on it to get on pears a cut down. To water pears with warm chocolate sauce.

However I most often do to muffins (cakes) with pears.
For this purpose it is necessary:

It is possible to bake a charlotte , same, as with apples:
3 eggs, a glass of sugar to shake up, add a glass of flour. In the oiled frying pan (or a form for cake) to lay out the cleared pears (2 pieces) cut by pieces.
