The flowing water heater
In the protochnik differing in very modest dimensions at the expense of big power occurs an instant warming up of a heating element therefore water manages to be warmed for that short time while proceeds along it. Therefore warm water begins to flow at once as soon as you open the crane, and flows until you close it.
Thus, the protochnik gives almost unlimited volume of warm water, but the stream density (stream thickness) is defined by the size of the power brought to the device: the more a stream, the above there has to be a power. So, if for the stream sufficient for washing of hands and ware, there are enough also 3 kW, then for a comfortable shower the power of a protochnik has to be not less than 4 - 6 kW. For this reason the flowing shower water heater is not suitable for houses with gas stoves where the greatest possible loading is limited to 3 kilowatts, but will perfectly serve owners of the electric stoves having up to 8 kW at the order.

However process of heating of water takes considerable time (for the 100 l store - more than 2,5 hours). However, this water heater therefore is called accumulative that accumulates heated water, keeping its temperature for a long time; therefore, the water heated earlier did not come to an end yet and only the new portion is heated, long it is not necessary to wait.
It is clear, that the amount of warm water is limited to the store volume why involuntarily there is a desire to install the store more. But the device storing all heated water in own belly can have very impressive sizes therefore to enter it in the small-sized apartment it appears sometimes an unsoluble task. But at the dacha where there is usually enough place, the store appears as it is impossible by the way.
And how many warm water is required to us on satisfaction of all needs? the Scrupulous calculation which is carried out in Germany showed that the person during the day spends about 140 l of water of which warm water makes slightly more than a half (84 l). (The similar calculations at us which are carried out to Soviet period gave a little big figure of the general need for water in a day - 195 l, but we never differed in special economy). Such amount of water is necessary to the person that 2 times a day to take a shower (52 l), to wash - to shave (15 l), to wash the dishes (9 l), to clean the apartment (8 l).
Leaning on these figures, the volume of the store can be counted taking into account a number of people in a family, and also temperature to which water in this device can be heated. Very hot water is practically not used: water temperature for washing - 38 - 40 degrees, for a shower - 40 - 50 degrees, for washing of ware - 50 degrees. But than water temperature in the heater is higher, those with a large amount of cold water should mix it for obtaining comfortable temperature, and, so the you will be able to use a large amount of warm water.
